Jan Groh
Portland native and long time silver flute player Jan Groh has gone back in time to re-visit the Baroque and earlier repertoire on recorder and baroque flute, under the guidance of Vicki Boeckman, Eileen Hadidian, Kim Pineda, and Janet See.
In addition to the Wildwood Consort, Jan performs with artist/musician Charles Schweigart as the Nachtigal Duo, most recently accompanined by the Neoteric Chamber Ensemble in a summer benefit concert for the Portland Community Music Center. This past year Jan has played both flute and recorder in several concerts sponsored by Classical Revolution PDX.
Jan is a founding member of and active participant in the recently reorganized Portland Recorder Society.
