Annie Harkey-Power
Annie Harkey-Power began cello studying with Christopher Leach and with James Smith in Longview, Washington. She has a Bachelor of Science in Music from the University of Oregon where she studied cello with Steven Pologe and Bass Viola da Gamba with Marc Vanscheeuwijck.
Annie is currently a cellist in the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and the Oregon East Symphony and a Treble Viol player in the Wildwood Consort. Annie also does freelance cello work in groups such as the Walla Walla Symphony, Astoria Festival, Portland Festival Symphony, Mock's Crest, and the Oregon Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra and has been a guest participant in the William Byrd Festival on the Viola da Gamba.
In addition to performance, Annie teaches individual cello lessons at Portland Music Company and Music World.
