Beverly B. Stafford
Beverly Stafford studied flute repertoire with Frank Langone, John May, and Richard Trombley, and continued to enjoy playing silver flute for many years.
A loan of a baroque flute from Janet See led to another world of flute music, through facsimile editions of 18th century composers previously unknown to her. She attended the Oberlin Summer Baroque Performance Workshops to gain more familiarity with the very different qualities of baroque flute, in classes taught by Christopher Krueger.
Beverly has a parallel musical life as a musician for traditional English folk dance, having played for dances and performing groups for over 20 years.
